Horrific Crime, Horrific Sentence?

Four Winnipegers are being sentenced to an insanely disgusting array of charges for holding a mentally diminished adult captive, and torturing her for months on end.

Next week Judge Kelly Moar hands down a sentence. Let's see how much of it will be spent in the comfort of their own homes.

NDP Fraud

This story is absolutely pathetic. Our wonderous NDP Government has defrauded the tax payer into paying for half of the labour given to trhem for nothing. Now, if I claimed expenses that didn't exist or were not eligible, man would I be in trouble. But you know what Manitoba? It's your own damn fault! You voted for them! I say you because I didn't! And I won't! And if any of you had half a brain cell left you wouldn't vote for these criminals either!

They admit it! GET THEM OUT!

Cash Grab

WOW! We will not give refunds to the people who actually have the decency to pay their tickets on time. Seriously? There's a lesson here I think. Don't pay your tickets! You never know when an appeal and a judges ruling will nullify it. Because if you actually do the right thing and pay your ticket, you are SOL my friend.

If this isn't a cash grab I don't know what is. Our wonderful injustice minister said it straight out that the city couldn't give back the ill gotten gains, because they would fall short on their budget. Hmmm, it's not about the money is it?

Come on election! Oh wait this is Manitoba, most of us are too stupid to vote out the pickpocket NDP. Oh well, at least we have jobs here.

Asper

OK, this is getting stupid now. Your company owes 3.9 billion to it's creditors, and your family is spending millions on museums and football stadiums. Hey, I'm a fan of a new stadium, but maybe someone who's so far in debt shouldn't be handling the reigns. If you run the bombers like you run a media conglomerate, then we won't have a team in five years.

There's no way you should get a hold of any taxpayer money, for a museum or a stadium. You can't manage your own, what the hell are you going to do with ours?

CTV News?

Are you Freakin kidding me? Did I just see that? I'm watching the evening newscast and there's a story on the fact that rubber boots are selling well, and that you can get more then just the plain black ones now. That's right, stop the damn presses! Rubber boots come in different colours. How pathetic is that. Running a worthless pathetic "news" story like that in the first 15 minutes of the news cast. It's not like there's more important things going on, like american TV hosts bashing the crap out of our military. Or you know, crime, or the fact that people in the inner city don't care about the stupid flood when they can't walk out of their homes without fear of dying. Shocked the police advisory board. Doesn't shock anyone else in this city.

Rubber boots, my god people, this is what the main stream media has come down too, a leading story on the colour of rubber boots available in our stores. Come on, give your head a shake CTV, and shake it hard!

Three in a Row

Ah yes, our wonderful justice system has done it again. A 16 year old level 4 car thief has for the third, yes I said THIRD, time cut off his monitoring bracelet. Wow, three times. That's got to be a record. Why is no one doing anything about this garbage that judges are handing down. If I don't do my job, I get fired. It's about ime some heads started rolling. Starting at the top.

Manitoba Public "Insurance"

MPI. Do they really think we're that stupid? I thought that they were an insurance provider? Maybe insurance companies have all become real estate magnates and we just don't know about it. A freakin shopping mall though? Come on!

Maybe if MPI was concentrating on insurance and not real estate acquisition my insurance for a $5000 car would be less than that of my $150000 house. $80mil for a mall? Blow's my mind. It's about damn time we got some competition for this dictatorship. Wanna save money? Bring in some competition. Damn greedy NDP.

New Flag for 'Toba

Do we really need to spend a crap load of taxpayer money on a new flag? We all know this will cost millions, with the committees, and meetings, and design costs. Let's see, we're in the middle of a recession, I know, let's spend a few mill on a new flag we don't need. But it's archaic, and represents british rule. Sure does, it's not like Manitoba is part of the British Commonwealth or anything. It's history people, history. If a bunch of stuffy millionaires can save a doorway, surely us common folk can save a flag.

Shake your head people!

Cash Grab Photos

Some people in our fair city are in an outrage. These criminals are crying that they got a photo radar ticket when there was no one working in the construction zone. (Hmmm, did he just say criminals?) You bet he did! You break the law, you are a criminal. Simple. Now here's the solution for all you lead footed whiners. Don't break the law, don't get ticketed. If the signs says 60 then go 60 not 70, or 80, or 90.... 60!

Yes folks it's just that simple. Don't speed, don't get a speeding ticket. Speed, get a speeding ticket. It doesn't matter where or when, because you probably deserve one anyway.

Caught on Tape

Well, well, if that just don't beat all. Turns out Brian Sinclair did speak to someone at the emergency room that day. Hmmm, seems someone hasn't been giving us the whole story. Not suprising though, it's not as if the NDP have been forthright with all their goings on.

Some people are pretty quick to jump on the aide. Thing is we'll never know for sure what was on the clipboard, or if the information was passed on. We'll never really know what happened to MR. Sinclair. Did the triage nurses ignore him? Did the aide not say anything? Here's an easy way to find out. Everyone who was on duty at the ER that day is fired. Yes fired. You think no one will speak up to save their jobs? You'll get 7 or 8 witnesses right there.

All the ranting isn't going to bring this man back, but if we continue to let people (Oswald) run this province with absolutely no regard for what is right and what is horribly, horribly wrong, then the blood of the innocent is on all our hands.

"Brown Envelope" Gifts for the WRHA

My position on this one may shock you. I'm in complete favour of the WRHA receiving these gifts with the tenders for equipment and such. Should they tell us what these gifts are and what they are used for? Absolutely. Should they stop receiving them? Absolutely not.

Over the last 10 years the WRHA has received about $20 million in "brown envelope" add-ons to tenders. That's $20 million dollars worth of equipment, and yes cash, that me and you did not have to pay for. Let me repeat that. That's $20 million that the tax payers didn't have to fork over. Our health care system is in serious trouble. Just imagine though, being short a couple more million a year. Things are bad now but just wait until we make the WRHA stop receiving these incentives.

Keep getting free stuff WRHA! It saves me from paying for it! (Just let us know what you're getting.)

"Conservative" Budget

I don't agree with running our country into more debt, as I'll be one of the many in the future who will have to pay for it, but you can't completely blame the Conservatives. Well, I guess you can. This isn't a budget, it's a bold slap in the face to all the western voters who didn't want the liberals in government. I'm sorry, but the only thing this budget is going to do is keep Harper from being ousted this month. Iggy can't vote against this. There's no way the Liberals can go into an unwanted election with Harper able to say that the liberals voted against this, and that, and this other thing. The budget is so wide spread it's a got morsels for everyone.

I like tax cuts. I'm a winnipegger, I like anything that puts money in my pocket. Could have given us a little more, but something is better than nothing. I don't quite get the reasoning behind the renovation incentive. How many people are going to spend a bunch of money on a house who's value is going down? We're in a recession here, who's really going to have the money to do any renovations anyway? Honestly, much else won't affect me. I'm not going to build a new hockey rink in New Brunswick, I'm not an Ontario auto worker who needs to be retrained because I've been tightening the same 4 bolts on a Ford engine at $40/hr for the last 20 years. I'm just an average Winnipeg guy making a decent living, trying to get ahead.

And hey, maybe next time we should vote Liberal, I mean, we have a Liberal government anyway. Time to grow some nuts Harper. The west is tired of carrying the east.

30 Months is Tough?

Are we being serious here people? Are we really calling a 30 month sentence for murder tough?

I know he wasn't charged with murder, being drunk and driving the wrong way down a one-way street and slamming into a tow truck is not murder. Getting drunk and accidently shooting someone is at least manslaughter, in this case he just used a bigger gun!

There is no way that average people are satisfied at all with the way the justice system is treating criminals. If this keeps up, we might as well fire all the police officers in Winnipeg, seems pointless to have the front line doing it's job and everyone else letting them down.

It's time for a shake up people! We need tougher laws and we need them now! Not after more innocents sacrifice their lives to the bleeding heart, criminal coddlers in government.

The "Parking for Expectant Mothers" or "Mothers With Small Children" Rant

Ok, I'm a new father, three months old, greatest thing to ever happen to me.

Here's the problem, the mall. Now there are a certain number of reserved spaces for parents for small children or expectant mothers. The problem, You! Yes, You! The guy (or girl, but especially the guy) who is clearly not pregnant, and has no small children, in fact no children! Park somewhere else. Those spots are there for a reason. You try hauling a car seat, stroller and the works across a rutted frozen parking lot at minus 40 degrees.

Maybe we need some kind of pass, like handicapped parking. You register for it, it expires, you need to prove you have a baby, or are pregnant. Or maybe, just maybe the mall "cops" should do their jobs and start towing some cars!

Either way at the mall (St. Vital Center), there are lines and lines of cars parked in mothers with small children spots, and not a baby seat to be seen. Grow up people! You can walk the extra 40 feet, your 18 year old body can handle it!

In The Begining....

This being my first post, I thought I would post about the biggest news event of my lifetime, so here goes.....

It's officialy a new era for the western world. The United States of Supremecy has an "African-American" president. Don't get me wrong, that's a wonderful thing. Long live Barack. But my query to you..... is this "saviour" a great speaker, with no substance? We'll see. His great and wonderful meaningless speech Tuesday was all frills and no substance. He said a lot and yet said nothing. Just read the transcript and ask yourself "How?" after each line.

Here's a link to the transcript: http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/20/obama.politics/index.html

Good Luck Barack, You're Gonna Need It!
